Im sick of the narrative that has been built against Dak Prescott

Why do i hear endless hate for a good player? im gonna start out here by admitting straight up , he is not a generational arm talent. Hes not manning hes not marino or even romo and he struggles to throw downfield between the numbers. BUT Hes a gritty, durable, 100% above average quarterback that can trade blows with some of the best signal callers in thw world when he gets rolling and is a capable leader for a football team thats stuggled for 3 decades. However again, hes not aaron rodgers in 2015 where he can take some rando like jeff janis and make him look like the best receiver youve ever seen... prime ARod could have gone into a mcdonalds and picked up a few fry cooks and turn them into all pro receivers and thats not glaze i despise the packers.

The scheme we have set up and offensive personell we have is not setup for any quaterback to succeed. He has ONE TARGET. Thats it. One guy he can count on to run routes catch the mf ball ans be where hes suppose to be and even he sometimes drops the ball when he just cant afford to. Opposing defenses play the cowboys and go " put 3 people on ceedee lamb" and immidiately win. That is how limited and 1 dimensional we are on the offensive side of the ball. He gets thrown to the wolves with essentially no help. No run game. No play action to pull down the safetys here and there for a big play, no meaningful motion , dated passing concepts and we only ever use our tight end for underneath trash hot reads, never hitting the seam to again, give the middle of the field something to think about. You got a small fast guy like turpin , running digs and comebacks with the expectation for YAC when he should be using his exceptional field speed to be running past people on crossing routes, posts or go balls. I dont understand how we havent learned a thing from the fact that SAM FKING DARNOLD LOOKING LIKE THE GOD OF FOOTBALL RIGHT NOW That guy sucked shit through a crazy straw for like 6 years ,And low and behold he finally makes it to a real organization with coachs who know how to scheme, and with weapons and real players..suprise suprise, his arm talent he was drafted for has them 5-0 . I will say ,Dak is a 4th round pick and Darnold was like top 10 but STILL my point is organizations can suck so much ass that they make players that arent ass look like ass. We need a new GM ,a new headcoach and a new youthful OC willing to put forth a new scheme to create a winning culture our players wanna buy into. Because right now they take plays off, carry themselves with almost a negativity and mope around when a few scores down... the only one ever keeping morale high and leading this team is the guy everyone wants to get rid of. Im a 3rd generation fan who lives in the dfw area 15 minutes for at&t stadium and have carried this fandom in my bloodline since the franchise was founded. CHANGE SOMETHING. I wanna enjoy a successful season with the people i love in my lifetime again. Get that dinosaur out the GM chair.
