Substitute for white wine in baking

I have a recipe for cookies (precedella from the tasting history cookbook if anyone's wondering) that calls for about 1/3 cup of sweet white wine. Problem is I don't have any and I don't drink so I'd prefer not to go out and buy some because the rest of it would just go to waste. Does anyone know what a good substitute might be?

Edit because some people mentioned it: I don't have any religious or medical restrictions around alcohol, I just hate the smell and taste of it by itself (alcohol being in things is fine) and don't want to get something that I won't use and will just sit in my cabinet forever lol
