Luigi Mangione is framed , and his social media accounts were created by a stalker
I believe LM is the victim of a psychopath who developed obsession on him at least six years ago when they were in college.
LM was a valedictorian and an A student. He was very social, handsome, and many girls had crushes on him. For example, there was a post on Facebook from an anonymous user on the UPenn fan page that asked, "Hey, LM, do you have a girlfriend?" This post received a lot of likes, as did LM’s reply, which shows that people already admired and liked him. He was popular—a school star.
Many people could have been envious of him, especially since he was a handsome man among other computer science students. It’s common for CS students to be loners, shy, and not very social. These individuals are often stereotyped as nerdy, more interested in gaming, and sometimes incels.
LM, on the other hand, broke that stereotype. I suspect that someone might have been envious of him and became obsessed with him.
LM attended an all-boys school, surrounded by very intelligent computer science students. Although they were smart, perhaps unlike LM, they didn’t have a social life or struggled with relationships.
I think one of these individuals became obsessed with LM.
Perhaps the turning point was when LM talked about T. Kaczynski. This stalker might have connected the dots and decided to take revenge on LM by framing him for an assassination—a plan the stalker crafted in their mind.
We don’t know if the Goodreads account even belongs to LM. Anyone could set up a profile with his name and picture and write fake book reviews. The profile could have been kept private, meaning LM may not have even been aware that someone was impersonating him. This stalker could have been creating false evidence years before the crime.
For example, the Goodreads activity dates back to 2017, which was during LM’s college years. The real LM might not have known about it because the account was private, and he couldn’t see it.
What’s also strange is that the Goodreads profile includes handwritten book reviews. It’s as if someone wanted to make his handwriting public so that creating a fake manifesto would be easier and more accurate.
It’s worth noting that none of LM’s friends mentioned him ever expressing anger about the healthcare system or capitalism. People were shocked. However, when you look at his social media, it might give the impression that he did.
I think LM may have been framed by someone he met during his school years. This person likely became a stalker and prepared a long-term plan to frame LM for a murder. The stalker may have wanted to prove they were more intelligent than LM. They worked in the shadows for years, growing frustrated with their own life and envious of their successful, wealthy friend.
This stalker may have been a master of manipulation and social engineering.
The reason LM cut off contact with his friends and family could have been because someone influenced him. His radical shift may have been the result of meeting someone who manipulated him and ultimately used him as a patsy.
Maybe the psychopath befriended him.
Perhaps he convinced LM to live a life away from technology, phones, and family. LM had been reported missing, so it’s possible this stalker persuaded him to use a fake ID. The stalker took advantage of LM’s naivety and gave him the same ID that had been used at the hostel. LM was unaware that it had been connected to the suspect
Interestingly, people have noted that the photo from the hostel doesn’t even resemble LM. I would suggest searching for the real suspect among LM’s friends.
That would explain the strange manifesto. Why is it titled "To the FED"? Why does it state an appreciation for the FED's work? Why does it include an apology for all the trauma caused?
I believe it's because LM is a patsy. That's why there’s an apology for any trauma—it was written to implicate him, and he apologized for innocent person trauma who has been selected for a pasty
The manifesto is addressed to the FED to ensure LM becomes the primary suspect. The use of social engineering references to using LM’s social media activity to frame him as the perfect patsy.
