Question about season 5 Episode 1.

So, I understood why Jeff is back at Greendale. He has graduated but he'll be teaching there now (for a year? I think that's his plan? Correct me if I'm wrong)

But I don't understand exactly why the rest decide to go back. Didn't they graduate already? What exactly are they trying to do, which requires them to go there again for another year?
