Would DC/Marvel be able to do something like Weekly Shonen Jump?

Wsj is a weekly magazine that contains a bunch of different chapters from many series running on Jump of about 500 pages. It's pretty cheap at around 6-7$ (move that to 10 for simplicity), uses garbage toilet paper, and has no color. In general its meant to be a loss leader to get people into manga by introducingmany new series while contiuning the super popular ones. I feel like this would fix so many problems as well

• It would bring comics back to Cvs, gas stations etc. because of the higher base cost • Would sell like hotcakes because of the value proposition as compared to today • Give the possibility of introducing new series without established characters without fear of immediately flopping since they'd get carried anyways
