Reputable firearms retailers

A bit of a strange question, I know, but I was wondering if anybody has knowledge of a reputable firearms dealer in town? I’m starting a new job here soon, and they require me to have a firearm on my person while on the clock. While I am open to private sales/Bass Pro shops, I’d prefer to support a local business if possible. Thank you in advance.

Edit: my manager has communicated to me that a semiautomatic handgun is preferred, but the company mandates the caliber to be no smaller than a 9 millimeter.
