My father has been diagnosed with Colon cancer

We’re devastated, to say the least. We want answers, and the doctor has only said the tumor is 8x8 cm, and we wont know more until june. Hes only in his early 50’s..

What can I expect? What stage of cancer is this most likely to be? He has no symptoms which is a good thing I think.

UPDATE:

We got a paper from the doctor today about his CT finding. The cancer has not metastasized, which is a huge relief. We still don’t know the exact staging yet, but we know it’s probably not stage 4!
