Can’t find anyone in Canada who charges less than $5400 CAD.

I’m not necessarily looking for the cheapest surgeon, but my understanding is that for a 15 minute procedure $5400 seems like I lot when I see others getting quoted between $2500-4000 CAD. I’m located in Vancouver, BC if that makes a difference but I’ve also reached out to surgeons in Toronto. One place in Vancouver quoted me $10-17k?

Edit. The place that quoted $5400 was actually “$5,400 - $6,100 + HST.”

Edit 2. Someone has pointed out that the procedure itself should be at least 30 minutes, not 15.
