Feeling so fatigued on carnivore.

I started this WOE last week. I had a blip this weekend where I was at an event and ate some savoury pie and peas (I live in the North of England) and also had a beer. Got right back on Carnivore in Sunday.

But since then after feeling so good last week, I've felt horrible. Super irritable and tired. Prior to this WOE I was running regularly and I haven't been for a run since I started last week. Even walking the kids to school seems to be taking every last ounce of energy.

I really want to continue with this WOE. Apart from the small blip at the weekend which was more a case of the fact it was free and I indulged, my sugar cravings have pretty much gone and I've already lost about 1.5kg in weight.

Running is such a big part of my life, my social life revolves around running (mainly hills) and I just don't have the energy for it. I have a race on Saturday ( about 8 miles and 1700 ft) and how I am feeling now, I can't envisage being able to get up one hill, let alone several.

I just wanted to know if things will get better? Running is such an integral part of my life and I can't see myself being able to do it at the moment. Does anyone have any experience running on this diet and how long did it take before you felt well enough to run on this diet?

Is it possible that my indulgences over the weekend has caused this reaction? I totally regret indulging and I didn't even enjoy it that much.

I really want to give carnivore a fair shot but not to the detriment of my athletic performance.

I'm very tempted to eat a banana before my race on Saturday, I feel like I won't be able to race like this!

Just wanted to add that my typical day starts with eggy coffee followed by 2 eggs fried in ghee with either 4 slices of bacon or 300g mince. I might add some cheese to this.

After lunch I might have another eggy coffee. For dinner today I had two lamb chops cooked in ghee, some cheddar cheese and another couple of boiled eggs.
