Struggling to find direction after dropping out of med school, any advice?

I could really use some advice on figuring out what to do next with my life and career. I’m 27M and dropped out of med school last year. I had invested a lot into that path, so deciding to leave it was tough. Since then, I’ve been feeling lost about my next steps. My background includes a bachelor’s in biology, but I don’t want to go back to med school or clinical healthcare roles.

I’m open to exploring other fields where I can make a good living and still feel fulfilled. Ideally, I’d like to find a career path that doesn’t require starting from scratch but lets me leverage the skills and knowledge I already have. I’m considering different options, including roles in mental health, public health, or maybe even something outside of healthcare.

Has anyone here made a big career change after leaving a structured path? Or does anyone have suggestions on careers that might align with a background in biology but don’t require a medical degree? I’m willing to look into additional training if necessary, but I want to avoid a very lengthy or costly educational commitment.

Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions you might have!
