1st time buying a insurance need some guidance
This is my first time buying car insurance. I went through some policies on Policy Bazaar, and Go Digit is offering the lowest premium for pay-as-you-drive and zero depreciation policies. However, my dad is reluctant to go with it since it's a new company. He had a bad experience with New India Assurance where his claim was rejected, and he had to pay the entire amount out of pocket.
What should I take care of while buying a new policy? Should I go with Go Digit or Acko? For zero depreciation, it shows they will pay 100% of the part’s cost, but are there any hidden charges I might come to know about later? Will they cover engine damage due to floods, accident or other reasons, or do I need to get an additional engine cover? in case someone hits my car and runs away.
Policy Bazaar claims they’ll help us get a 100% claim with a dedicated manager. Should I go with them?
