What is your one minor nitpick about the riordanverse? [PJO] [HoO]

Mine is that the fact that Helios and Selene have faded when far more minor gods have been shown to still exist. The faded essence of Helios was enough to set California on fire and terrify Apollo so he was obviously a force to be reckoned with and his sister Selene should have been very powerful as well. It would have been interesting to see some retired Titans who just sort of enjoyed their immortality and delt with their domains in the background only when needed.
