[MC] What do you guys think of Samirah?

I heard that Rick Riordan was criticized for the way he wrote this character a while back, but reading Magnus Chase I didn't see anything wrong in Samirah, I saw a multidimensional character who has her goals in life and who doesn't pass on any negative stereotypes and none of the characters make fun of her religion. Maybe it's because I'm a white kid who doesn't have a lot of nuance on this subject, but it's not like Samirah is Cho Chang from Harry Potter where she's just there to be the only Asian in Hogwarts (With full of negative stereotypes against Asians).
