What CPU should I use with a 2080 ti?

I have received a 2080 ti as a gift and I want to use it for my first build. Thing is I am not sure what the 2080 ti needs because its an old card and there is nothing recent about it online. I am currently hesitating between the ryzen 5 5600X and the I5 14400f, but I've heard that the 14th gen has some problems. Should I wait for the next generation?
