Planning a no-GPU future-proof PC – suggestions?
Objective: Build a future-proof PC to add a GPU later when new strong cards are available (like new RTX series) and i have more money. For now, the purpose is to just to handle current-gen games at 30fps 1080p. Is this worth it for this purpose? The Ryzen 780M APU performs similarly to an RTX 1650.
Specs:
8700G, 8-Core, 16-Threads, 4.2GHz (5.1GHz Turbo), 24MB Cache, AM5
- Motherboard: Gigabyte A620M DS3H, DDR5, Socket AM5, M-ATX, AMD A620 Chipset
- Memory: Team Group Elite, 16GB (1x16GB), DDR5, 5600MHz, CL46, Black
- Case: TGT Jester L Gaming Case, Mid Tower, Tempered Glass Side Panel, Black
- Power Supply: Pichau (Brazilian White Label prob chinese) Nidus 750L, 750W, 80 Plus Bronze, Black
The converted price is $589 USD, but the dollar is skyrocketing in my country, so the cost doesn't translate well here.
