Should I upgrade to am5 or stay am4

I am currently using a 5600x and I've been noticing it's been slowing down. I did recently get another 16gb kit (2x8gb) for a total of 32gb filling all 4 ram slots on the mobo (I think that's why it's slowing down) and I'm thinking of either sticking with am4 and upgrading my mobo to some x570 board (currently on b550), or upgrading to the am5 platform and getting a 7600x (if anyone else as any other suggestions on what to do pls lmk)
