Brussels airport yesterday (31/10)

Does anyone know if there was an unscheduled strike yesterday at Brussels airport?

I heard from a friend (who missed a flight) due to long security queues that the airport seemed to be barely functioning and many other passengers missed their flights as well

P.S. 2 + hours in the security line
