Joining the army, i am Pakistani and a practising muslim, i was wondering, is the military now days racist? Read below before coming to a conclusion and commenting

I understand i may get comments right now saying shit like “don’t victimise yourself”, “oh here we go, hasn’t even joined and he’s already moaning”. My friends in the army have warned me saying not everyone is like that but some can be passive aggressive, i understand systematically speaking they wouldn’t be getting taught to be like that, frankly i believe western countries are the least racist people on earth, but I have been told that in the military culture some do have political beliefs thats a little too fruity and uneducated, so being fully serious and realistic, can you inform me please as joining is a life decision that will impact the next decade of my life. My only plan is to excel at jobs and commands that are given to me and nothing more or less but when im facing someone, will i be smiled at but when i turn my back have shit chatted about me?
