What happens after 5 years on Tamoxifin?

So last Dr visit I kept asking what happens after my 5 years on Tamoxifin... Did not get clear answer from oncologist. I'm 57 right now. Still not menopausal yet per hormone test (I had hysterectomy So that's only way to know) My mom was over 60. Anyhow.... Just wondering people's real life experience. After 5 years did you switch to something else after taking hormone blocker or that's it? Thanks!!
