Thoughts on Skyward?

I am thinking of starting the Skyward series but I am also a bit reluctant because I have read mixed reviews about it...

For context I have read every single Cosmere book and can't get into any other author because...well... No author is Brandon Sanderson 😭😭 I am addicted to his writing style and his stories so much.

Anyways, what do yall think of the Skyward series?
