Is waiting to be certain a good option?

My moms brain tumor was found in December 2022 but the doctors have been giving different diagnosis. We are trying to get a third opinion but now we are worried about whether we should do something now or wait until the third opinion to make the decision. She has a 3cm tumor in the pituitary area near the optic nerve that’s another surgeon thinks is a meningioma with radiation being the best option while another dr says radiation is super bad and we should do surgery instead. With the third opinion, it’s going to be 7-8 months after discovery before we make a decision. Is it better to get surgery and get a piece or wait until we have the third opinion?
