Partner just got an initial diagnosis

Neither of us really know what to do. Just got the news this morning, she has had trouble finding words, weak arm etc for a year or so, put down to menopause, 48yo.

MRI showed a large anomaly in the speech centre. That’s all we know so far. More tests tomorrow and neurosurgeons meet next week.

From those of you going or have gone through this, what questions did you ask?

How did you get through those first days?

We will fight this every day, for sure.

I’m currently browsing holidays of lifetime while we still can enjoy them.

Thankfully we are in the UK and NHS has been amazing so far.
