Alec Burks

With the Knicks now looking to ship out veterans to carve out playing time for their talented youth, what do you think about the idea of bringing in Burks? I personally think he'd be a great fit here and will list my reasons as to why.

-Great beyond the arc shooting 40% and 48% on wide open shots.

-Decent Defense but not the best. (1.1stl) (top 10 guard in defensive rating this season, take this with a grain of salt)

-9.3mil contract is manageable and can come in handy in salary matching scenarios.

Contract 2021-22: 9.5mil 2022-23: 10mil 2023-24: 10.4mil (team option)

-We're obviously parting ways with Dennis so it'd be nice to bring on board a ball handler. I'm not completely sold on pp and so I believe a combo of JRich, Burks, and one of the Jays handling the ball would work.

-Tatum is his kids god father lol

This is a rough draft trade to make this happen

Celtics receive: Alec Burks

Knicks receive: Dennis Schroder, Romeo or Nesmith, Bruno or Enes, and maybe toss in a second

Would love to hear your thoughts on this
