Unsatisfying Endings? Let me know which unsatisfying ending keeps you up at night

Which ending to a novel did you find half baked, lazy, rushed, preachy or incongruent? Im reading The Painted Veil right now and although both main characters of the novel are not particularly pleasant, Walter’s ending felt lazy and simply out of character. No spoilers from me of course. You read a novel and become so invested in the characters that an unpalatable ending is often worse than not having read the book at all.
