Dead SuperJam for Phil

With Phil’s passing, have a feeling Bonnaroo will honor a legend of the scene and one of the musicians who made the festival what it is today.

They’ve never done a Dead SuperJam - which is odd given their connection to the fest. Though they’ve had so many Dead offshoots, didn’t seem necessary.

Sturgill was my original guess given his now connection to the band but I’ve seen Billy Strings Dead SuperJam for Phil at Bonnaroo thrown out in his circles. Maybe both play?

Billy Strings or Sturgill (Bobby role) & Mayer or Trey (Jerry) together backed by like Russo, Oteil, and Chimenti or Benevento would be a huge get for Bonnaroo. And a proper way to pay tribute to a fucking legend.
