I'm Confused

I'm confused. I used a tear unlock which unlocked page 12 of the battle pass because I thought I'd be able to work on this tier even without having completed the previous page 11 tier. Whenever I look at page 11 there's a bunch of locks on everything but then when I go to page 12 it says it's unlocked as though I can work on it but I don't think I can because there's no button or anything on the screen that allows me to. I have completed everything up until page 7. I'm about to begin page 8 on the battle pass but page 11 says it's locked. However, the next page 12 has circles instead of locks. Is there a way that I can work on page 12 before I work on page 8? And if not why does it not have the locks on page 12 but it has the lock on page 11?
