Footsteps Audio in Multiplayer

Been playing a lot of multiplayer lately as Warzone just is not fun anymore and one thing I've noticed is that it seems like I never hear any of my opponents footsteps. I can hear mine and my teammates clear as day, but never the other teams. Will be standing completely still, no other noise around and then all of a sudden there's a person right next to me killing me and I never heard them walk or run up. I've tried tweaking my audio settings a few different ways but nothing helps.

Not sure if this changes anything but I play on Xbox and use a Turtle Beach Stealth Recon 600 Gen 2 headset.
