Gun Users Explain

Why is it that I only use a knife in rank and outperform the people using guns? Like are you guys ok. I solo que so I'm stuck in low ranks but I shouldn't be doing better than my entire team. Do these guys just not understand positioning or aiming?

Also why does solo que only give you Hardcore. I am so tired of that mode.
