This game rewards braindead gamepalay

So, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is finally here, and honestly? It’s a complete disaster for anyone who actually enjoys tactical gameplay. There’s no need to play strategically or even think beyond just sprinting forward, sliding around like a hyperactive squirrel, aiming wildly, and waiting to respawn. You can make endless mistakes, but the game's speed lets you rinse and repeat without consequence. The match pacing is so fast and chaotic that I’ve seen teammates literally sliding past each other, backs turned, as if they’re completely oblivious to the enemy standing right beside them.

The minimap has lost all value in representing control. Teammates’ positions mean absolutely nothing. The moment you manage to secure a solid tactical position, the enemy is already spawning right behind you, or worse, sliding straight into you. Fast time-to-kill (TTK) just makes it all worse—someone just needs to slide, spot you first, and it’s over before you even have a chance to react. Any form of planning or positioning becomes completely useless.

Weapon variety? Forget about it. It’s XM4 or the best SMG—or else you’re putting yourself at a major disadvantage. Gunfights are so quick that whoever spots the other first wins, with zero chance to recover or outmaneuver. Longer gunfights, where you actually get to aim and time your shots, are gone. Fast TTK just rewards mindless running and gunning, effectively eliminating any skilled, slower-paced weapons like marksman rifles. Those guns require positioning and timing—things that COD has thrown out the window.

If you want to play with any level of thought or finesse, this game punishes you for it. The entire experience feels more like a dopamine loop than an actual tactical shooter. In short, Black Ops 6 isn’t about skill, strategy, or even awareness—it’s a braindead sprint-fest where only speed and reflexes matter. Enjoy your slide spam simulator, I guess. For anyone hoping for a more strategic experience, this is not the COD for you.
