For straight naturals that work out

Hello ladies,

I’ve been natural for 9 years and have probably straightened my hair about 6 times in total. I don’t even own a flat iron! However, with my busy work and school schedule, I’m considering incorporating regular silk presses into my routine for convenience.

At the same time, I want to start working out 2–3 times a week. For those who wear their natural hair straight and also work out:

  1. How do you style your hair during workouts to minimize reversion?
  2. What products help maintain your silk press?
  3. How often and how intensely do you work out?
  4. How frequently do you straighten your hair, and how do you maintain its health?
