Do people actually care that you’re single and childless?

For those who are single and childless. I am 34 and have never been married and have no kids. Sometimes I feel shame because of this despite really not being ready for either. I just feel like people are judging me or don’t respect me for being unmarried and childless. Then today I reached out to my play cousin today. She’s a black woman with an MBA from one of the best universities in the country and a 6-figure job. I just realized that that she’s older than me and not married. I don’t think less of her. In fact, I forgot about her family life. I respect her a lot. So while some ppl might shame me for not being married or having kids, for the most part, the people whose opinions I actually value don’t give af.

My cousins make fun of me for it but they’re idiots. I’m sorry. But they are.
