Training with Eczema
Hello!
I just wanted to reach out to see if any of you had any tips or tricks that help you mitigate flare ups from training.
I’ve been having a real hard time with training for the last year, and honestly I’m losing hope. Every single time I train my face, neck and arms flare up badly and it lasts a couple days.
I’ve spoken with my dermatologist about it and they told me to avoid such exercise, but they don’t understand what it means to us. I’m on medication for the eczema called dupixent and occasionally some corticosteroid cream, and I take a cold shower straight after training but it doesn’t seem to help that much.
It hasn’t always been like this but I can’t pin point the cause of why it’s gotten so much worse.
I can’t live like this, and may have to give it up eventually. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I’m really trying my best not to lose an important hobby, please be nice.
