shimano cues crankset compatibility on road bike

as i have watched Path Less Pedaled yt vid with cues i really wanted to try it on my gravel bike. now as i have known cure are for flat bar bikes (mtb) but all i am looking to was it's crank set specifically the 40-26 one. given that it fits on mtb's would it fit on a road bike?. as of now i am using prowheel ounce 50-34, i have been searching for the measurements of the cues crankset spindle length (the thing that goes inside the bb, idk if it is correct) all there is in the website of shimano is the crank length. hope you can help me, thank you in advance~
