How to apply lotion to my feet without....

This is probably weird... I have a problem... My feet get very dry and crusty.. The solution= applying lotion or cream.

Here's my problem. When I apply lotion to my feet especially... I feel the urge to wash my hands, but don't want to walk all over the floor with lotioned feet ( since they leave marks and make the floor and slippers etc oily and i feel like my feets get dirtier)

I did came up with the solution to keep a hand sanitizer by my bed but I hate the smell and don't like hand sanitizer in general...

I know I'm being picky and weird bit does anyone has a solution or a suggestion?
