Positive experience as a Muslim in Australia

As a part of my efforts to counteract the toxicity in this sub-reddit surrounding the topics of religion and Bangladeshi diaspora, I wanted to share a positive experience.

# Incident 1

My parents have come to visit us in Australia and we took them to a park this afternoon. During Magrib time, my father took out a prayer mat and started his prayers. An Aussie woman with two dogs was sitting next to us. Seeing my father pray, she kept shushing her dogs so that their barks don't disturb my dad. When we were about to leave, the woman came and apologized again for her dogs, and expressed admiration for my father's unwavering faith.

# Incident 2

Earlier today, an elderly man and a woman came knocking at our door. They were Jehovah's Witnesses (a Christian sect). They are known to go door-to-door discussing matters of faith (somewhat similar to Tabligh). My wife and I welcomed them inside. They were well aware that we are Muslim, and they made it absolutely clear that their intention is not to convert us or preach their religion. We had a lively 30 minute discussion. They shared with us the Hebrew Bible version of the creation story (story of Adam and Eve (pbuh)) and talked about the Dead Sea Scrolls. We explained to them the Islamic version of the story and we both learned something new. While leaving, they were extremely thankful. Apparently, every house they'd been to today, people (including Christians) shut the door on their faces. We were the first house where they were welcomed and given the opportunity to have an intellectual discussion.
