Multiculturalism of Azerbaijan
I would like to know your opinions on multicultural character of Azerbaijan. While we have many Muslim ethnic minorities from Avars to Tsakhurs, the Talysh and the Tat, the Kurds and the Ingiloys, we don't see much presence of them in public arena. Despite having (allegedly) 30K Armenians living in Azerbaijan, they don't have neither community or church for them. Udis are almost always remembered on the context of Churches in Karabakh. Khinalug is the one of the most popular destinations for tourists, yet we don't have Khinalug-Azerbaijani dictionary to date. Only exception seems to be made for Jews. Albert Agarunov, of course, as a hero being at the center of it.
Don't you think it is a bit weird acting like "Yay, we don't kill Jews like in other countries of Middle East!" everytime? Why don't we try to integrate and communicate with all our minorities?
