Card against humanity - masking hell

The game in concept sounds super fun, really. But sitting with people whether in person or in a voice call, while being the card czar and having to read and pick out which you think is the best card feels like masking hell. Usually you have to go through the thing of reading each one aloud and then I feel pressured to laugh or make some kind of response to someone's choice of card...etc etc, when realistically I would just not do any of this showing emotion at all. Anyone else get what I mean?
