Cooking - wok with foam bubbles?
Hi all. I know this is not a cooking forum but the major cooking communities don't allow attachments so I am posting here in case there are an kitchen experts that could provide guidance.
I bought this new Kmart wok and while frying onions I saw a lot of bubbles/foam forming up. It's a hard anodised wok (not sure what that means!) with non stick coating. I had this one before and didn't see anything like this.
So far to rule out ingredients going off, I have tried a different oil and onions but it still happens. Any thoughts on this?
