Plastics Intern Rotation

Hi everyone! I've noticed a lot of posts recently about less common intern rotations, so I thought I'd also ask for some advice. I have a plastics rotation early next year, but I’ve never done a plastics rotation before. At my previous clinical school, there weren’t any plastics interns, only residents.

I’m wondering what my scope of practice might be as an intern. Would it be quite similar to a gen surg intern, and are there plastics-specific tasks or responsibilities I should prepare for? I can think of several things already, such being familiar with types of wound dressing, skin grafts/flaps.

Thanks in advance for your help!
