Star adventure GTI + ASIAIR plus question

Hey guys, I'm currently planning out my first real astrophotography rig and I was hoping one of you may be able to provide some clarification, as I have found conflicting/unclear information everywhere I look.

To simplify things:

Can you utilize the built in tracking from the Star Adventure GTI mount while utilizing the ASIAIR plus?

Can I still accomplish plate solving without a guide scope with the ASIAIR(this will be a dslr setup)?

What are the downsides other than not being able to use Dithering if I don't have a guide scope?

Sorry if these are dumb questions, but I can't seem to find any direct answers. I'm currently just trying to piece together the order in which I purchase things and a guide scope is further down on the priority list unless it's going to be required for tracking to work.
