Do you guys cry?

I’ve seen Max, in the animation Mary and Max, say that he could not cry, that he would squeeze himself trying, but still couldn’t. He was mentioning it as an autistic trait, but that was the first time I had heard of that, so I was wondering how typical of autism that really was or wasn’t.
