Are there any great thriller FICTION books in English set in, or about, any part of Latin America that you could recommend?

I'm aware what I'm looking for is so specific there may at best be a handful of titles that meet this criteria. What I'm looking for is 1) A fiction novel 2) in English 3) a light read that's a thriller of any sort (detective fiction/politicial/legal/adventure/suspense whatever, but NOT magical or fantasy) 4) set in or at least significantly about somewhere in Latin America. 5) written not too long ago, ideally in the 21st century

Something, for example, like the equivalent of a Gerald Seymour/Jeffrey Archer/John Grisham, but Latin American.

Does anyone have any recommendations that would meet all these criteria?
