Daughters adult molars coming in on an angle

My 6 year old daughter has 2 adult molars, one on each side growing in on an angle.(Only picked up by xrays). That being said she has 2 baby teeth in front of those molars that they are suggesting to pull and then to get orthodontic tx once those baby teeth are pulled. I'm curious if this is something that we can just watch and wait on seeing as she is so young? I find ir crazy that she may need orthodontic care at such a young age. We did meet with the orthodontist and he said he would use a band and attach it to the other teeth to pull those straight. Could they not grow in straight on their own once the baby teeth are gone?
