Is this molar infected?

I've been due to have my molar removed for a while now but because of medical circumstances (i.e surgery) I've been unable to. I have severe health anxiety and a family emergency has left me hesitant to have it removed while no one's around.

My question is, does this look infected? There's no pain in the tooth but my tongue hurts due to the sharpness, and I don't know if my headaches are related. Is it safe to wait a bit to remove it? Should I be on antibiotics?
