So I’ve been on the hunt of actually good Mexican food.

Does anyone have any recommendation?

I’m Mexican myself, so it’s hard to find places that are actually good and not crazy overpriced for no reason lol.

So far my top choices are as follows…

1 - Gorditas @ Plaza Latina (this place will surpass ANYTHING you’ve had in the city guaranteed… Everything here is made from scratch which is pretty impressive given it’s only run by this mother-daughter duo lol) < —- currently looking for a spot that will top this for me, they actually use salt in their food😂😂

2 - La Unica Panaderia (this one’s a bakery, but they also sell food as well, really nice breads and cakes)

3 - Kings Taco (although not takeout, I love this place for their huge plates of meat and build your own style dining)

4 - Rabago Bakery & Cafe (could be more consistent in their choice of tortillas, but overall not a bad option, they’re better for their baked stuff lol)

Please don’t drop names like “Gus tacos” or “Mad Mexican” or other spots that aren’t even Mexican ran anymore. I’m hoping for people to share restaurants that only have 1 location.
