BOYFRIEND FROM FRANCE COMING TO TORONTO - PLEASE HELP.. <3

Hello, my boyfriend (22M) is French and has never been to Canada before. I (21F) am Canadian, but am not really familiar with the Toronto area. We are visiting Toronto around Halloween weekend (Oct 27-30). So far, we have fast pass tickets to Canada's Wonderland Haunt, and planning to go to Niagara Falls + Niagara on the Lake.

Any help on other places to go would be immensely helpful. He has never experienced a "north american halloween," so anything themed would be great for him. I just want to show him a fun time in my home country. We will be using public transportation while staying in the downtown area.

I've heard people say Casa Loma, Aquarium, etc. are not worth it. He's French so I feel scared that the architecture or culture in Canada won't be that impressive to him, but he's looking forward to the cold fall weather and 'aesthetic' lol.

Any bars + restaurant recommendations would be appreciated as well!
