I want a better understanding

Lately I'm so confused, because I don't get the whole sexy/thirsty/turn on thing. When I look at attractive persons I can't wrap my head around the idea to sexualize them. I tried everything. I looked at dozens of pictures (including nudes) and r34/nsfw content but nope, no turn on. The best I can get is appreciating their looks like "wow how beautiful". I'm writing this because I had a conversation with someone about this and I want to understand him better.

If you're allo, could you be so kind and tell me how this whole thing works. I want to understand this so badly.
