Anker 737 battery degradation test after 115 cycles
The Anker 737 has a 86.4Wh battery, of which 83-84Wh is usable (the rest is reserved for keeping the screen running after the battery reaches 0%)
Following my post some time back about my 737 still reporting 100% battery health after 100 cycles, I decided to do a battery test earlier today.
The powerbank discharged 83Wh from 100-0% (this is energy discharged from the battery, not energy sent to connected devices). This test result perfectly matched my December 2022 test, which also got 83Wh in a 100-0% test.
What this means is there is minimal degradation in my 737's battery, which means either I hit the jackpot and got the best 737 in the world, or (more likely) the fact I rarely charge the battery to 100%, and if I do, it will be discharged soon after, plays a part in the battery's performance. Heat does affect the battery's degradation, and the temperature has reached as high as 46°C during charging sessions.
I will be doing a follow-up 0-100% charge test now, whose results will be posted in a comment to this post the moment it's done.
