Serious: Media as Soft Disclosure

After watching both versions of 'The Three Body Problem' (Netflix's version and the Chinese mini-series), and then hearing Brett Weinstein's discussion on the stagnation of Physics it dawned on me there may be some nuggets there to speculate on;

In the Three Body Problem, physics is stagnated through intervention/sabotage from Trisolaran 'Sophons'. They also shut down strategic coma, nuclear weapons etc. The correlary to reported UAP/UFO reports of them disabling nuclear weapons and (this is on a limb here) lack progress in the field of Physics is curious, especially given the publish date of 2006 which predates some of the info thats come to light since then regarding UAP/UFO capabilities.

I'd like to hear from folks their opinion on this, and possibly other media instances that may (or may not be) Soft Disclosure.
