Cant cover black with red

Hello guys I am trying to paint red my black primed and white zenithal highlighted model but its impossible to cover black and white places appear pinkish rather than red doesnt matter how much paint that I use. I use vallejo red air model color its pre thinned I dont know ift its too thin to cover if it so whats the purpose of this.
